Book Events in Seoul Plaza

Every Friday and Saturday, the plaza in front of Seoul City Hall is crowded. This is because the Seoul Plaza, a program called Reading Seoul Plaza, was decided to open from April to October 22 at the representative library in Seoul, which is adjacent to Seoul Plaza. It is the first "outdoor open library" in Korea that connects the Seoul Library and the Seoul Plaza, and you can enjoy a rest with a comfortable reading mat, bench, and parasol. There are about 3,000 books in eight bright and colorful bookshelves, and meetings with writers and busking performances are also taking place. More than 20,000 people have already visited the section chief in Seoul as the event is underway. I think it'd be good if you could enjoy a new way of enjoying Seoul together.

An event with a book

Seoul Plaza, which reads books, hosts various programs with citizens who visit this place. In street performances, various genres of performances such as artists' songs, instrumental music, Korean traditional music, and magic will be held twice on Fridays and three times on Saturdays. In July, the Starlight Book Concert, which combines reading and music, will be held, and in October, book talks and meetings with writers in connection with the Seoul Knowledge Name Festival & Forum will be held. It is a healing place in the city where you can freely gather in colorful bean bags and parasols on green grass to read saddle books and chat. On Friday, office workers who want to relieve a week of stress in an open square think of the event as a "good place to go out," a "good place to take pictures," and a "good place to read books" on Saturday.
