The Age Of Light is a cultural activity conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency to promote the virtual world, which is a key technology in the future, and to let the general public know the value of Gwanghwamun. It has a total of eight categories, of which it is held at the Metro Art Museum located underground of Line 3, and Gwanghwa Won and Gwanghwa In are the most popular. If Gwanghwa Won provides a space for visitors to heal with media art, Gwanghwa In can be seen as a place where they can experience Korean artificial intelligence technology with realistic technology. You can experience Gwanghwa In almost without waiting. Up to eight people can enter at once, and as you enter Gwanghwa In space, there are four AI experience booths in the middle and screens are installed on the outer wall surrounding the booth, so you can see various cultural heritages of Korea digitally. When creating an artificial intelligence (AI) center, the Korean government thought a lot about what kind of person to be as a guide. Which person would be the best? Many Koreans probably thought of King Sejong. King Sejong created Hangul, the foundation of Korean, and the name Gwanghwa in Gwanghwa Gate. Creating the language of the country means a lot. And there's another guide. He is Minho of the group SHINee, the leader of K-pop culture. In particular, Minho plays an important role in the AI center by answering our questions in the AI booth. In addition to Korean, the AI booth can be conducted in English, Chinese, and Japanese. So, foreign tourists can experience the AI center without language difficulties. At the experience booth, you can enjoy the time to communicate with AI-equipped with human language and machine learning technology that has arrived in the Age Of Light. When you ask various questions to AI Minho, he answers about Korea's cultural heritage and history. Since it is a realistic AI center where people are connected, anyone can have time to ask questions and talk about Korean culture without limit in the four languages provided.

How to enjoy

Open hour : 10 am ~ 10 pm on everydays

Venue : Seoul Metro Art Center Museum 2 (It is connected to Gyeongbokgung Station, a subway station. Go underground using Exit 4 or 6 of Gyeongbokgung Station.)

Reservations are unavailable at this time, and visitors can enter after a wait time depending on the on-site situation. (Free tour upon entry)

Number of viewers: maximum 8 persons (There are only four experience booths, so family members sometimes use them all at once.)

There is no reservation system, and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Depending on the situation at the site, you can enter after the waiting time.
